Main aims:
- Drawing up recommendations on how to fix benchmarks,
quantifiable targets and guidelines for packaging prevention
- Allowing reflection and support for building related projects
between or by the participants
We identified 4 topics for discussion and
reflection:
- Bottled water vs tap water
- Reusable packaging
- Excess packaging
- Shopping bags

Cluster Meeting
The first meeting of this cluster was held on 21 September
2007 in Brussels.
Prerequisites for participation were to be a participant of the
European Waste Reduction Campaign, an ACR+ member or an invited
expert.

NEW (28/11/2008) - Technical Report - Reduction of Municipal
Packaging Waste
Following up on the first meeting of the
Packaging Waste Cluster, a working document has been produced,
summarizing some lessons to be drawn from LRAs experiences and some
recommendations on the prevention of packaging waste.
Report available to ACR+ Members and to external
participants in this Cluster.
