ACR+ 1st Technical Working Group for the European Decentrilised Observatory: 1st February 2011, in Brussels
Following the launch of the ACR+ European Decentralised Observatory of Municipal Waste Recycling Performances in September 2010 in Paris (www.acrplus.org/parisconf-2010), ACR+ invited its members to the 1st Working Group meeting on 1st February 2011 at the ACR+ Secretariat.
During the meeting the following topics were discussed:
- Objectives and methodology for the Observatory
- Deliverable for 2011/12
- Structure and functioning of the working groups and assignment of Co-leaders
- Involvement of key organisations for participation (inter[national] statistical bodies and business federations)
- Communication channels for the Observatory
- Funding opportunities
- Next steps and planning for the next working group meeting
- Waste Data Matrix:
1.Production of municipal solid waste
2.Recycling rate of municipal solid waste
3. Methodologies of data collection and presentation used
