ACR+ would like to warmly invite you to the final conference of the NEWAPP project which will present the NEWAPP project and its outcomes to a broad audience.

The NEWAPP project is a research project that was co-founded by the European Commission under the FP7 program. The project aims at developing a new valorisation pathway for biomass waste streams through Hydro Thermal Carbonization (HTC) technology. The HTC process converts Biomass waste streams into carbon. Instead of releasing carbon dioxide into the atmosphere, the carbon biomass is transformed into a peat-like material, which can be used to develop new products of industrial interest such as fuel, activated carbons for water treatment, soil remediation, carbon sequestration schemes and other applications.
