On 20 June 2017, in the presence of the Italian Minister of the Environment Gian Luca Galletti, ACR+ member Utilitalia presented "Utili all'Italia" (Useful to Italy), the first census of best practices in public services. The census, made among the 500 companies that are part of Utilitalia, provides a snapshot of how public service companies are preparing for the challenge of the circular economy and the efficient use of resources.

The census contains best practices on circular economics carried out by public and private service companies in Italy. The main topics represented are: social and environmental responsibility (90 projects); Technological innovation (83); Energy efficiency (52) and business development processes (49). Worth to notice that ACR+ member AMIU Genova, with its project Liguriacircular, has been selected within those best practices. A factsheet on this project is also available in the Circular Europe Network database.
