The annual Ecomondo fair in Rimini, Italy, will hold the final conference of the LIFE+ project “Chianti Waste Less” on 7 November 2013. This event will give the opportunity to present the project results and compare Italian and European best practices on waste prevention.
During a half-day conference, the project will highlight its integrated strategy for the “smart” waste management. It will also present specific results, in particular using e-gate technology for waste collection as well as Val d’Elsa’s experience regarding door-to-door collection and the PAYT (pay as you throw) system. ACR+ will also be present, in order to highlight certain European best practices on waste management and waste prevention.
