After the closing of the Conference of the Parties (COP 21) to the Framework Convention of the United Nations on climate change held in Paris, Minister of Environment, Water and Forests, Cristiana Paşca Palmer, alongside other European environmental ministers attended the Environmental Council in Brussels, on 16 December.

As such, the event " 25 years of Environment in Romania" organised by ACR+ member Green Planet Association together with Romanian Environmental Association and in partnership with the Ministry of Environment, Water and Forests, and took place at the original location, the Bucharest National Opera House.

In the context of a quarter of a century after the foundation of the first environmental protection institutions, with attributions and responsibilities in Romania, Green Planet Association decided to put the challenges and environmental problems we face on the table, but also to celebrate the progress made.
