In the framework of the Urban Agenda Partnership on Circular Economy, ACR+ co-organised a workshop with its member OVAM, the European Economic and Social Committee, the Council of European Municipalities and Regions and Eurocities.

The aim of the workshop was to inform cities and network organisations of the opportunities of the European Circular Economy Stakeholder Platform as a portal to strategies and case studies in CE. Participants had the opportunity to directly share their inputs: what would be the ideal portal for cities? What are they looking for and what might be still missing now in the current European Circular Economy Stakeholder Platform. They also contributed on a broader scale, for example by discussing what cities need to exchange knowledge and experiences beyond a web portal, how they would like to learn from each other and how the partnership can help in this.

Agenda

  • 9h30: Introduction to the Urban Agenda Circular Economy and to the action 'Circular City Portal'
  • 9h40: Brainstorming session

  • 10h35: Open discussion and questions on the platform and possible missing aspects
