The IMPACTPapeRec project, after two years of exciting work, exchanges and cooperation among all actors of the paper for recycling value chain, has come to the end.
Without any doubt, the project increased knowledge and awareness about separate collection of paper and cardboard for recycling. Joining their forces, IMPACTPapeRec partners produced several tools to be used by municipalities willing to improve their performances in paper and cardboard collection:
- The Handbook of Good and Best practices, together with evaluation tools for additional support;
- A series of suggestions and recommendations on standardisation, policies and incentives;
- Engaging eLearning modules as a further way to deliver the practical outputs of the project.
More information about these and other activities of the project can be found in the project’s last newsletter.
To present the project’s outcomes in more detail, ACR+ is organising an interactive webinar, which is scheduled to take place on 15 February 2018 (11:00 – 12:00). The webinar will focus on presenting the “Good and Best Practices Handbook for the collection of paper and board for recycling” and provide practical tools and concrete steps for improving paper and board collection on a territory and help avoiding landfilling and incineration.
The full programme of the webinar is available here.
