ACR+ is one of the partners behind a new initiative, titled REGENERA Water Sports, that seeks to revolutionise the management of water bodies across four pilot territories in Ireland, Finland, Spain, and Slovenia by promoting regenerative processes that not only mitigate the environmental impact but actively enhance local ecosystems and economies.

The Erasmus+ project will benefit Achill Island in Ireland, Bled in Slovenia, Tampere in Finland, and Banyoles in Spain, focusing on stakeholder engagement, behaviour assessment, and the co-creation of sustainable practices. ACR+ will play a role in managing an international advisory board and drafting a sustainability plan. This plan aims to ensure the longevity of the developed solutions and offers a blueprint for replication by external entities, emphasising the project's goal of leaving water body destinations better than they were found.
