The ProSUM project, of which ACR+ member WRAP is a partner, has launched the Urban Mine Platform. The platform allows its users to access data on secondary raw materials for WEEE, end of life vehicles and batteries in one place.

The platform features:

• A centralised database of all available data and information on arisings, stocks, flows and waste generated for WEEE, end of life vehicles and batteries.
• Seamless access to secondary raw materials data and intelligence for base metals, precious metals and Critical Raw Materials (CRM), with the ability to reference all data.
• Harmonised interoperable data on the composition of these wastes and the materials and elements which they contain.

The Urban Mine Platform provides projections for secondary raw materials until 2020.
