From January to October 2018, the collection of separated waste in Cascais increased by 13.72%, while the quantity of undifferentiated waste increased by only 0.8%, compared to 2017.
 
Published on 28 December 2018, the figures show the citizens’ commitment to environmental issues, in particular regarding the greater sorting of their waste, as well as the success of the ACR+ member Cascais Ambiente's strategy in the implementation of adequate infrastructures, awareness campaigns, and environmental education.
