The Parliament of ACR+ member Wallonia unanimously adopted a resolution on circular economy, the result of year-long joint work by parliamentarians from different parties.

This resolution concretises the parliamentary report which drew up an inventory of the current situation and made a series of recommendations so that in 2040, 80% of the products, by sector, circulating on the Walloon market are repairable or recyclable.

Among these recommendations are the desire to better coordinate transversal actions through the appointment of a regional minister for the circular economy, the adaptation of regulations, the development of products from this economy in public markets, or training SMEs in the circular economy.
