ACR+ member the Catalan Waste Agency (ARC) will grant 1.13 million euros to 20 projects focusing on prevention and preparation for the reuse of industrial waste, following a call launched in 2018. The industries that have replied to the call represent a wide range of industrial production sectors. Some of the actions that will be carried out thanks to the grant include plastic waste reduction; a new process of exploitation of glass mines; an innovative painting system that minimizes waste; or the modification of processes to be able to use recycled materials as raw material.
