ACR+ member Cleantech Region organised The Cleantech Battle at the TECHFestival in Deventer on 16 June 2023, that displayed sustainable solutions developed by students. They presented ideas like a biobased bat box and a modular bicycle for Africa. The students had been working on assignments focused on sustainability, circularity, and clean technology for the past months, which has led them to develop these sustainable solutions. During the Cleantech Battle, they had the opportunity to pitch their ideas to regional entrepreneurs, who provided guidance, shared knowledge, and utilised their networks to assist the students.
