On 28 February 2019, both the FISSAC and RE4 teams presented the ongoing activities implemented as part of their projects and led interactive discussions during the workshop called “Today‘s waste, tomorrow’s material”. The workshop was organised as part of the World Sustainable Energy Days – WSED – during a session on innovation in buildings and energy that took place in Wels, Austria.
The workshop gathered researchers, industrial companies, professionals and the wider public interested in the topic of circular economy, industrial symbiosis and new materials.
 
For the FISSAC and RE4 teams, it was also an opportunity to exchange experiences with other H2020 projects dealing with the circular economy, such as Green INSTRUCT, VEEP and InnoWEE.
