We are happy to announce that ‘Packaging’ is the new thematic focus of the 15th edition of the European Week for Waste Reduction (EWWR). This choice follows the recent adoption of the European Commission’s Proposal for a Regulation on Packaging and Packaging Waste which aims to push forward the reduction and reuse of materials. The EWWR campaign will inspire actions to promote reuse of packaging and hereby prevent excessive resource extraction and waste.
 
We will soon publish factsheets, articles, guidelines, and other materials to raise awareness on this thematic focus to continue fighting for a world with less waste.
