In the framework of the European Week for Waste Reduction (EWWR), ACR+ will participate on May 4 in the second episode of the “Leading the way towards waste prevention” series, organised by the Europe Policy Learning Platform. The webinar will focus on various methods to encourage citizen participation in waste prevention, as well as inspirational examples of educational campaigns.
The session aims to inspire local and regional policy makers from across Europe with hands-on waste prevention policies. It will feature inspiring solutions, good practices, and recommendations backed by real-life examples from European cities and regions from many Interreg Europe projects.
In the session "How to engage citizens in waste prevention activities" we will present good practices from past editions of the campaign, which can be taken as a reference point by the participants, and which have the potential for transfer to other regions.
