ACR+ member Brussels Environment has prepared a draft “Plan of resource and waste management” outlining 60 measures to reduce waste and increase reuse and recycling. The plan constitutes a fifth update of the document and aims to align it with the circular economy and zero-waste principles.
The plan focuses on three action levels: waste reduction; better valorisation of resources with a focus on social economy (sharing, reuse, repair) and development of new business models; as well as better waste management system.
In order to finalise the plan, citizens of the Brussels Capital Region are invited to participate in the public consultation, open from 14 May to 14 July 2018.
