As from December 2018, the rue de Paradis, in the 10th arrondissement of ACR+ member Paris, will become the first "zero waste street" of the capital, or even France, as part of Paris Climate Plan. Citizens and shops of this street of the 10th district - pilot territory for the strategies of the Climate Plan - will be encouraged to reduce their waste production as much as possible and to better sort.

"The Rue du Paradis is a city summary, with social housing, private housing, offices, shops, restaurants, schools," said Alexandra Cordebard, mayor of the district. Several tools and actions will be available to residents and shops of the small street such as collective composters, a shared fridge in the street, pocket ashtrays, trainings with Zero Waste Paris, " Do It Yourself " workshops to make cosmetics or household products, etc. The inhabitants will be invited to fill in a weighing grid of their bins to follow the evolution of their efforts.
