In 2018, the ACR+ member Agence Bruxelles Propreté (ABP) opened more than one file a day for the import of waste in Brussels by residents of other Belgian cities. This long-term practice by inhabitants of the periphery or other regions continues to be widely exploited.

In 2018, the ABP opened 504 cases for this type of offense. In June 2019, 247 police records for the import of waste into the Brussels region have already been recorded.
