The Circular Economy Working Group of ORÉE launches a new reflection cycle on the topic of new economic models. The second session on June 6, in a hybrid format, will focus on circular procurement under the theme of “Rethinking Value - New Practices in Purchasing, Contracting, and Sourcing”.

During this session, there will be information sharing on new purchasing practices. Attendees will have the opportunity to hear from one of ACR+ Board of Directors member, Jean-Michel Buf, Vice President of ORÉE, President of the National Council for Circular Economy, and Regional Advisor for Circular Economy at the Regional Council of Pays de la Loire, on the pivotal role of public procurement as a catalyst to inspire and guide other actors, as well as on the purchase of reused and refurbished materials. Other interventions will focus on collective purchasing and the sharing economy. For those participating in-person, subgroup work sessions will provide the opportunity to explore avenues for adapting practices and identifying change drivers. Attendees will have the chance to share ideas and collectively brainstorm on moving towards action.
