EPR and Competition: The importance of consistent implementation

On 17 October 2017, DSD hosted an EPR Club lunch debate to present the results of a recent study by Deloitte on ‘Extended Producer Responsibility and Competition’ that shows that both competitive and single solution EPR-systems can be successful – if they are well adapted to the respective national requirements.
Deloitte presented the results of the study based on case studies from Austria, France, Germany and Ireland. The presentation was followed by a Q&A session and an open discussion between the participants.
