ACR+ President, Josep Maria Tost i Borràs, also director of ACR+ member ARC, was interviewed by Fundación Biodiversidad, following its participation in the Green Circular Day on 27 October 2015, an event aimed at raising awareness of the potential value of the circular economy. “Waste has a real value in terms of obtaining materials that can be re-integrated into productive processes” explained Josep Maria, who made a strong case for recycling as the force behind sustainable development. He went on to state that “if we want a better future for ourselves, and more importantly for the next generations, recycling is fundamental” and that “the best recycling machines are people”.
