The draft programme of the International Conference co-organised by WasteServ Malta and ACR+ on 31 May 2016 is now available!

This full-day conference will be opened by European Commissionner for the Environment, Maritime Affairs and Fisheries, Karmenu Vella, as well as Malta's Minister for Sustainable Development, the Environment and Climate Change, Leo Brincat. It will include sessions focusing on common areas of concern regarding food waste and its prevention, territory-specific case studies on challenges and solutions for food waste management as well as presentations on biowaste management best practices from around Europe and the Mediterranean region.  Registrations will open soon.

The ACR+ General Assembly 2016 will take place after the international conference.  During this general assembly the ACR+ Board of Directors will be renewed and a new ACR+ President will be elected.

The General Assembly will also be the occasion for ACR+ members to present their working priorities as well as their expectations for the network, in preparation of ACR+ Work Programme 2017. Last but not least a working session will be dedicated to the construction of projects. After a short presentation of different EU funding schemes, ACR+ members will brainstorm on how to incorporate their working priorities into the construction of projects and explore future cooperation possibilities.
