Take part in one of the biggest international awareness-raising campaigns; join the European Week for Waste Reduction (EWWR)!
It is easy, you just have to organise an activity focusing on the promotion of the 3Rs – Reduce, Reuse, Recycle – between 19 and 27 November and register it as a EWWR action.
What is so special about it? The project has received wide recognition from different European and national institutions, being elected as “Best of the Best” LIFE project already in 2013. Along the years more than 61,000 actions have been implemented in over 30 countries making it one of the most successful projects on waste prevention in Europe. Each year, public administration, schools, businesses, NGOs and citizens come together during the same week to draw attention on the critical issues related to waste. In 2016 the EWWR invites you once again to take part in this extraordinary experience!
If this is not inspiring enough then maybe the EWWR Awards Ceremony will encourage you to register an outstanding action and win in one of the 6 categories (Public Authority, Association/NGO, Business, Educational Establishment, Citizens, Other).
In previous years the EWWR and its winners were celebrated in the beautiful cities of Rome, Budapest and Brussels. The winners of this edition will be invited to join the awards ceremony in Barcelona in May 2017!
