On the future of Extended Producer Responsibility Schemes

(ACR+) EPR Club and Brussels Environment are pleased to invite you to contribute with a paper to the EPR Club conference entitled "EPR (R)evolution in the European Context".

Amongst the wide range of questions linked to EPR, the conference will focus on the following themes:
  • Should EPR scheme be applied to other waste flows than household waste?
  • Is EPR a waste prevention tool?
  • Is EPR a waste tool aimed at avoiding litter (including marine litter)?
  • Is EPR European harmonization sufficient/necessary?
  • Should EPR be a full cost recovery system and how to calculate eco-contributions?
  • Are EPR schemes in conformity with the competition law?
