The EPR Club is back from its summer break and already has a full programme of EPR Club Lunch debates prepared for its members (including ACR+ members).

The season will start on 22 September 2016 with a lunch debate organised by ACR+ and Rreuse on how to support reuse and preparing for reuse through EPR. It will focus on specific measures and current good practices that can help extend product lifetimes, develop reuse networks and create local jobs.

The following one, hosted on 13 October 2016 (date to be confirmed) by DSD, is examining the links between the EU's Landfill ban, the Waste Hierarchy and EPR. It will investigate how infrastructure development should prioritise recycling over energetic recovery. In November, the lunch debate is scheduled on 22 November and will be hosted by Eco-Emballages. It will tackle plastic packaging, with a focus on the effects on the selective collection schemes. 2017 will start with a lunch debate organised by ACR+ on 19 January with Peter Borkey from OECD as a special guest.

As a reminder, the EPR Club is an exchange platform on EPR schemes in Europe aiming at benchmarking on recycling performances, European harmonization, fair competition, public control and best practices.

ACR+ members are automatically members of the EPR Club and thus warmly invited to request their access to the member space of the website and to attend the different events organised such as the lunch debates. These lunch debates are usually taking place between 12h30 and 15h00 in Brussels.
