ACR+ in partnership with the City of Thiene, the European Association for Local Democracy (ALDA) and the Municipality of Etterbeek is organizing the international seminar “Implementing the circular economy at the local level: how to effectively engage citizens in the process?”. During the event, ACR+ will present the activities of the network and the European Week for Waste Reduction.
The seminar is part of the Europe for Citizens co-funded project WE-NET – Working for ENvironmentally Educated Towns. The initiative brings together representatives of European institutions, local and regional authorities, civil society associations and experts from 8 different countries to exchange knowledge, experience and good practice on the topic.
The event will be taking place in Brussels at the Committee of the Regions on 14 November 2016.
