The Consorcio para la Gestión de los Residuos del Vallés Oriental (CResidusVO) – Consortium for the Vallès Oriental County waste Management – was established in 1998 to work on the global management of the municipal solid waste coming from the Vallés Oriental County, located in the province of Barcelona in Spain. It covers a group of 42 municipalities serving over 401.000 inhabitants.

  • The selective collection of different waste fractions of 37 municipalities, with 42 waste trucks and around 5.000 containers
  • The door-to-door selective collection of 5 municipalities
  • A network of 25 collection points, with more than 230.000 users
  • A waste transfer plant treating 55.000 tonnes of residual waste and 4.500 tonnes of light packaging
