The IMPACTPapeRec project’s latest General Assembly took place in la Roche-sur-Yon on 13-14 September 2017, hosted by the French partner Trivalis. It included several internal workshops with dynamic discussions between the participants and a visit to the Vendée Tri sorting plant, a state-of-the art facility for sorting of mixed packaging waste. On 15 September, the first of a series of workshops for municipalities was held. The focus was the application of the identified good and best practices to the specific context of the municipalities on the Trivalis territory.
Entering into the final stages of the project, the upcoming months will be busy for the IMPACTPaperec partners. The Handbook of good and best practices will soon be finalised and a series of events are already scheduled, such as the Informative Meeting on 18 October in Brussels and 5 municipality workshops in the project focus territories in October and November. The project will end with a Final Conference and several side events in January 2018.
