Recycling machines appeared in ACR+ member the city of Warsaw in mid-2019 as a part of an educational campaign on the principles of selective waste collection. The inhabitants have already collected over 427,000 plastic packaging, 132,500 glass packaging and almost 122,000 aluminum packaging (in total over 680,000).
All they need to do is launch the "ECO Wallet" application on their smartphone, scan their individual code on the recycling machine and throw in the raw materials one at a time, and ECO-points will appear on their account. After collecting the appropriate number of them, the residents can exchange them for a selected discount.
