ACR+ member Bruxelles Environnement will hold an event on the Resources and Waste Management Plan which sets the main lines of the waste management and prevention policy in the Brussels-Capital Region for the period 2019-2023: 60 measures have been adopted to reduce the production of waste and increase reuse and recycling. The Plan 2019-2023 is thus organised into seven strategic objectives which are all priorities, each of which is broken down into several operational objectives which in turn contain measures to be implemented. It will have a participatory governance mechanism, in co-construction with stakeholders, to address current systemic challenges.

The full Plan, the Environmental Impact Report and the Environmental Statement are available online on the Brussels Environment website.

Speakers

  • Mr Alain Maron, Minister of Environment and Public Cleanliness
