From 9 to 10 April 2019, the BLUEISLANDS project partners met in Mykonos, Greece, to overview the status of the project and to plan the next steps ahead. With the studying phase approaching its end, the consortium is now preparing to launch pilot activities in islands aimed at developing measures to mitigate the seasonal variations of waste as a consequence of tourism.
Two newly released communication tools were launched during the event. Those were a factsheet and a video explaining the methodology of the project and describing its three phases: studying, testing and transferring. The tools will help you to become better acquainted with BLUEISLANDS’ ongoing activities.
