As an integral part of the circular economy, the urban bioeconomy focuses on the geographic areas in and around cities, including their regions. As industrial processes transition towards circular business models, the recovery of valuable resources from waste is particularly powerful for producing bio-based products. Indeed the EU Bioeconomy Strategy sees cities becoming “major circular bioeconomy hubs”. To get there cities and regions need solid governance, creative innovation and more circular economy solutions.

The HOOP project will be presented during an official EU Green Week Partner Event Vitalise Europe’s Urban Bioeconomy on 26 May 2021. ACR+ will be present to describe the benefits of joining the HOOP network. Do not miss the chance and register here.
