ACR v2 r02After ACR+ member Odense and Ireland, which also are members of the second cohort of the More Circularity, Less Carbon campaign, it is ACR+ member Navarra’s turn to assess its carbon footprint linked with municipal waste generation. This will help the Spanish region to move from an estimated 713,000 tCO2eq to a total of 535,000 tCO2eq, thus achieving the target of a 25% reduction of its carbon emission linked with local resource management. Navarra has the possibility to choose between two strategies to reduce by 25% its carbon footprint: reducing by 40% textile waste, food waste by 25%, and the other targeted materials by 20%; or introducing a waste reduction target of 25% for all materials.
