• Accelerating the green transition with Circular Public Procurement (10:00 – 11:30 CET): the seminar will dive into the world of Circular Public Procurement (CPP) and its key role in the green transition. You will not only hear experiences from the ProCirc pilots about the barriers and lessons learnt to adopt CPP but also get to know, from the supplier side, how SMEs can get easier access to participate in circular public tenders.
• EPR principles as a bridge between waste and products policies (14:00 – 16:00 CET): invited by ACR+ (as Secretariat of the EPR Club) together with its member CITEO, EPR experts will discuss how the design and implementation of extended producer responsibility policies should motivate producers to improve the design of their products and packaging. A roundtable will then focus on policy options for the revision of the Waste Framework Directive in order to reach municipal waste prevention objectives.
