Cedefop, the European Centre for the Development of Vocational Training, released a policy brief on "Too good to waste – Tapping the potential of vocational education and training in the waste management sector", which builds on a skill foresight study to which ACR+ contributed.

Better and smarter waste management is essential to achieving European Green Deal ambitions. Stricter regulation, increased investment, and innovation in materials processing technology and circular economy solutions boost employment and transform skill needs in the waste management sector and beyond. The policy brief reports on a Cedefop skills foresight study which looked at the occupations and skills that are central to greening waste management and the role vocational education and training can play in developing them.
