ACR+ member LIPOR published its data for 2018 and revealed its results in Avoided Carbon Emissions, as well as data on the municipal waste production and the share of production for each kind of waste.
 
The results show that LIPOR managed to avoid 2,350 tonnes of CO2 emissions due to prevention actions implemented in the territories, and up to 36,826 tonnes thanks to the recycling measures put in place. In 2018, LIPOR collected and recycled about 19,212 tonnes of glass, for instance.
 
In total, the municipalities covered by LIPOR activities managed to save the equivalent of more than 15,000 barrels of oil.
