ACR+ member Lipor and its associated municipalities are pleased to announce their participation as a founding member of the Portuguese Pact for Plastics. It is coordinated by the Smart Waste Portugal Association, with the support of the Ministry of the Environment and Climate Action; Ministry of Economy and Digital Transition; and Ministry of the Sea, and is part of the Ellen MacArthur Foundation's Pact for Plastics Network.

It is a collaborative and innovative platform, bringing together the public, private, academic and civil society sectors in a common vision of a circular economy for plastics in Portugal, where they will never become waste. Through the signing of this Pact, Lipor undertakes to develop actions and initiatives to achieve a set of ambitious goals and objectives for 2025.
