A new waste law aimed at accelerating the transition to a circular economy, on the one hand pushing innovation and consolidating the industrial system and on the other hand succeeding in recovering the management imbalances in some areas of the country, in particular bridging the gap between North and South. This is the heart of the 'Common Memorandum of Understanding' with which ACR+ member Utilitalia and others organizations jointly invited the government and parliament to tackle together the current critical issues of the waste collection, treatment and valorisation system, also to remain in line with the new objectives proposed by the four European directives on the circular economy.
