ACR+ member Odense opened a shop called “Zirkel”, its new recycling universe where things from the civic amenity site get a new life. Items for recycling collected at the 8 civic amenity sites of the city are sold in to private citizens in this new shop, filled with recycling and upcycling. Humanitarian organisations can visit the adjoining premises where they have the possibility to collect items for free and resale them in their second-hand shops. Zirkel also aims to be a creative house of ideas, where green artists and entrepreneurs can work with materials and exhibit art that is made according to upcycling and circular methods.
