#CAMBIAGESTO (“change your gesture”) is the motto of a new awareness campaign that is involving all of Italy and that until 29 November 2020 will see the city of Genoa as the protagonist. This campaign aims at protecting the environment from the littering of cigarette butts and is sponsored by the Municipality of Genoa in collaboration with ACR+ member AMIU and the local voluntary associations.

#CAMBIAGESTO leverages the sense of individual responsibility, encouraging the adoption of virtuous and sustainable behaviors for the environment, in order to change a behavior that is too often underestimated such as throwing a butt on the ground. In addition to the information materials distributed at selected tobacco shops, the correct disposal of cigarette butts will be possible thanks to the distribution of over 13,000 pocket ashtrays.
