SIRCLES project consortium, including ACR+ member ARC, commenced its work to explore new employment, which explores new employment opportunities for groups at risk by applying the circular economy models, especially in the management of organic waste. The project will run from 2021 to 2023 and is 90% funded by the EU, with an allocation of EUR 3.4 million through the cooperation programme ENI CBC-MED. In total, 107 new jobs are expected to be created in the different participating countries.

In Catalonia, a pilot project will be developed in Vilaseca with the implementation of a community treatment facility for organic waste from campsites, hotels and restaurants.
