The City Council of Rivas Vaciamadrid hosted the opening day of the participatory process of the Circular Economy Plan of the municipality in which ACR+ member ENT took part. The involvement is part of ENT's project to collaborate in the drafting of part of the Waste Plan of the municipality.

Rivas is preparing to collectively design its Zero Waste Strategy, one of the main lines of the Circular Economy Plan activated at the end of 2020 following the new European guidelines on sustainability. The idea: to implement a production and consumption model in the city that involves sharing, reusing, repairing, renewing and recycling existing materials and products as often as possible. The Zero Waste Strategy is coordinated by the Department of Ecological Transition and the municipal company Rivamadrid, which have drawn up a roadmap to gather information and opinions and detect the strengths and difficulties of the process.
