The new Valorlux sorting instructions, in force since 1 July 2021, now also apply to collections in the ACR+ member Luxembourg's districts. The signing of the agreement with Valorlux is imminent, and the city is already affirming its support for this initiative, which aims to simplify the collection of packaging and standardise sorting instructions throughout the country.

In addition to plastic bottles, metal packaging and drinks cartons, residents of the capital can now collect pots, cups, trays, films and plastic bags directly using the Valorlux bag. Joining the extension of the Valorlux collection is proof of the city's desire to further increase the recycling rate of waste disposed of on the territory of the capital and to facilitate the management of citizens' waste.
