After a long break due to the pandemic, this summer festival-goers can once again take to the lawns and open spaces. La Fiesta des Suds, Francofolies, We love Green, Cabaret Vert... more and more festivals, supported by ACR+ member CITEO, are setting up waste sorting. This is an essential service for festival-goers, but it must meet certain requirements to be successful.

Discover some tips and feedback. For instance, CITEO supported the Jazz à Vienne festival in creating a sorting cabinet that meets two objectives: to be more visible and to improve the sorting of packaging. Two prototypes were made from recycled materials by Tri Rhône-Alpes, an integration project located 6 km from the festival. Designed specifically for the event context, they can be dismantled, are easy to store and transport, and can be modulated thanks to the different independent compartments. The sorted packaging is then taken away for recycling.
