The Organicup, an initiative promoted by ACR+ member Government of Navarra and the Waste Consortium in 92 towns and cities to increase and improve the recycling of bio-waste, has led to an average increase of 24% in the organic matter recovered in the participating municipalities where it has been possible to weigh the amount collected. In addition, compared to the previous year's figures, there has been a 15% reduction in the amount of waste thrown into the residual waste bin, thus reducing the volume that goes directly to landfill and its consequent CO2 emissions.

Prizes were awarded to the towns that have recovered the most and best organic waste in each of the participating areas, which will receive street furniture made from more than 300 tonnes of plastic and recycled capsules to complete the circular economy process.
