Institut economie circulaire 80px

ACR+ member Institut National de l’Economie Circulaire (INEC) encourages local authorities to improve environmental performances of French schools. Through a repository of good practices, territorial initiatives and solutions to be implemented in schools, INEC provides elected officials and local authorities with the keys to fully grasp these issues and begin the transition of their schools.

While some solutions are highly technical, for example in the area of sustainable building, the circular economy can also take simpler forms that are accessible to all: prevention and reduction of food waste in canteens, reuse of classroom furniture, school supplies made from recycled materials, reconditioned computer equipment, etc.
