ACR+ member Diputación de Castellón has concluded environmental education workshops to address the current situation of waste management in municipalities with less than 5,000 inhabitants in the province and in the city of Castellón. The aim is to get 500,000 people to change the way they manage their waste, in line with the European Union's target. In this regard, the deputy for sustainability has expressed the need for education to achieve the change from a throwaway economy to a circular one.
