Over the next few years, ACR+ member Government of Navarra will invest EUR 42 million to improve and renovate upstream water supply and urban waste treatment infrastructures. This investment will make it possible to carry out 4 actions of the Waste Plan of Navarre 2017-2027 in collaboration with the respective communities and local councils. It is expected that a 12% reduction target of household waste will be achieved by 2027. In addition, it is planned that 8% of bulky waste and 2% of waste from electrical and electronic equipment will be destined for preparation for reuse; that all the citizens of Navarra will have selective collection of organic material; and that 65% of domestic and commercial waste will be collected selectively; among other objectives.
